Rare Mickey Gilley MP3

For most of his career, pianist/vocalist Mickey Gilley lived in the shadow of his cousin, Jerry Lee Lewis, playing a similar fusion of country, rock, blues, and R&B. In the early ’70s, he managed to breakthrough into country stardom, but it wasn’t until the late ’70s, when he became associated with the urban cowboy movement, that he became a superstar. Gilley, like Lewis, was raised in Ferriday, LA. It wasn’t until Jerry Lee had a hit with his first Sun single, “Crazy Arms,” that Mickey decided he wanted to pursue a musical career. Gilley began recording for a number of independent Texas labels without much success in the late ’50s. In the early ’60s, he became a local favorite by playing a never-ending series of bars and clubs.

Rare ColdPlay Mp3: Brothers And Sisters

Here’s a rare Coldplay Album - Brothers and Sisters

Coldplay never intended to become England’s favorite rock & roll sons when their signature rock melodies ruled the charts throughout 2000. The Brit rock quartet — composed of Chris Martin (vocals/piano), Jon Buckland (guitar), Will Champion (drums), and Guy Berryman (bass) — yearned to mess around a bit, plucking their own acoustics for fun while attending the University College of London. All had been playing instruments since their early teens and had been influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan, the Stone Roses, Neil Young, and My Bloody Valentine. They never imagined taking reign of the U.K.’s ever-changing rock scene.

The Brothers and Sisters EP , is the rare three-track disc that landed Coldplay on a major label for their celebrated 2000 debut album Parachutes, is a remarkably confident effort for a band merely a year old. The songwriting predicts what was to come — singer Chris Martin’s falsetto on “Easy to Please” anticipates the resigned melancholy of the stellar “Trouble” from Parachutes — even if the arrangements doggedly remain in the footprints of Jeff Buckley’s Grace and Radiohead’s The Bends.

Easy To Please 3:02
Only Superstition 3:48
